The National Center for Community Readiness (NCCR) is an entity established to work collaboratively with communities nationwide to improve the health and quality of life for under-served and multiethnic populations. The Center accomplishes this through the provision of capacity building assistance, training, and research efforts. Within the center are three projects, Commitment to Action for 7thGeneration Awareness and Education, the BESAFE training component, and the Minority AIDS Initiative in collaboration with SAMHSA.
